Alfred Logan “Al” Whitehurst 

Alfred Logan “Al” Whitehurst was born March 29, 1958. Mr. Whitehurst has been married since 1981 to Jeana Marie and together they have three sons; Matt, Evan and Adam. Mr. Whitehurst attended Santa Clara University to attain his undergraduate degree. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1979. Mr. Whitehurst attended Santa Clara University School of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1983.

After passing the California bar, Mr. Whitehurst worked as a clerk, and later an associate for Lester G. Sachs in Santa Clara – 1983-1987. Mr. Whitehurst then moved home to Los Banos where he started working with Linneman Law Office on October 01, 1987. Mr. Whitehurst became a partner in Linneman Law in 1991.

Mr. Whitehurst concentrates his practice on civil litigation with a strong emphasis on personal injury, transactional law and trust and estate administration.

Mr. Whitehurst’s personal interests include snow skiing and fly fishing, in which he holds five world records for fly-caught fresh water Striped Bass.

Mr. Whitehurst helped establish Pacheco State Park, a unique, public-private partnership funded by the Fatjo Corporation, a non-profit corporation formed to finance the park with funds bequeathed to the State, along with park property, by Paula Fatjo.

Jeremiah J. Toscano

Jeremiah J. Toscano was born and raised in Merced County, in the city of Los Banos. His family has been in the area since the early 1900’s. After graduating from high school in 2005 Mr. Toscano enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After serving his country, which included a deployment to Iraq in 2008, Mr. Toscano attained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Chico. Mr. Toscano then attended Santa Clara University, School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in May of 2016.

While in Law school, Mr. Toscano took a position as a certified law student with the Merced County District Attorney’s Office. In this position, Mr. Toscano successful prosecuted multiple misdemeanor cases under the supervision of a Deputy District Attorney. Upon graduation from law school Mr. Toscano was hired by Merced County District Attorney’s office as a Deputy District Attorney. During his time with the Merced County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Toscano successfully prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases. 

In 2019 Mr. Toscano joined the oldest law firm in Merced County, Linneman Law, LLP. Mr. Toscano is one of two partners in Linneman Law, LLP. Mr. Toscano uses the insights and experience gained while working with the Merced County Districts Attorney’s Office, to zealously defend his clients. Mr. Toscano is a general practitioner who often practices Criminal Defense Law, Probate Law, Wills and Trusts, and Civil Litigation, where his trial experience has proven to be invaluable.
